Endometriosis…I see you.
Unseen and unheard and often misdiagnosed, but 10% of women world-wide from puberty to menopause have endometriosis. Think about 10 women you know, love, or work with. One of them is very likely suffering from endometriosis. Maybe it’s you? 💛
Now called a ‘silent epidemic’, the most common symptom of endometriosis is chronic and acute pelvic pain. Too often, women don’t talk about it or learn not to bring it up - with our families, workplace and doctors. But unvalidated and unrecognised pain can lead to a whole host of other conditions, including depression. In the case of endometriosis, it can also lead to infertility, bowel and bladder problems and greater immune dysfunction.
As an endometriosis wellness coach, I’m here to support women naturally with their endometriosis, from the doctor’s diagnosis, to knowing what to implement in their lives for their own unique endometriosis challenges.
